Answer
My computer will not startup properly anymore, I have Windows XP
Author: Jim Martin
The problem could possibly be caused either by some recent hardware you have installed or plugged in or some software/drivers that you have recently installed.
In the case of the former, unplug/remove this hardware and try again. If this solves the problem check the manufacturers website to see if there is a driver update.
In the case of the latter, you can 'rollback' to where you were before by booting into safe mode (press F8) at startup and using system restore to restore your computer to a previous point.
